![]() ![]() Note: special effects have been used!īoth Hunter999 and Nerfrocketeer tested the ranges and accuracy of both the modified darts and some unmodified darts. This Instructable covers: -Camouflage and aesthetic mods -Scope attachment -Flashlight attachment -Carry strap attachment -Glow in the dark components -Comfort grip -Mega dart accuracy mod -Mega dart holder -Range tests -Tips and tricks -How to use the modified Centurion Also, here is a video showing the Supertak Centurion in action. Here following is a list of instructions on how to SuperTak modify your Nerf Centurion into a high class covert Nerf sniper rifle. However, members Hunter999 and Nerfrocketeer of the NK3AE have sought to change all of that through a series of rigorous SuperTak mods and tests. All of these problems render the blaster nearly useless in a Nerf war. Also, the blaster is big and bulky, and is very difficult to carry around for lengthy amounts of time. The red color on the shell of the blaster makes it extremely visible to other players-which is not always the best thing. Furthermore, the blaster's single magazine is only capable of holding six Mega darts at a time, which makes reloads long, risky operations. The accuracy of the Nerf Centurion Mega Darts is very low, with vectors varying from 20 to 30 feet on the longest range shots. But aside from looks, this toy leaves a lot to be desired. With looks similar to a Barret M82A3 or Barret M83 sniper rifle, this blaster has a great intimidation factor in a Nerf war. Just my thoughts based off of reviews and our own community guidelines. The Nerf Mega Centurion, also known as the MA3700, is a new long-range Nerf blaster that was released in Fall 2013. With six maximum, and a 2/10 being 12, this blaster seems fair with a 1/10. Open to severe adjusting.Ĭapacity: The blaster holds six, there are no larger clips, and nowhere to place a larger clip. It currently sits at a 7/10, although the review says "a dart every two to three seconds", which would put it moreso at around 1/10 according to the reviewing guidelines. Rate of Fire: The Centurion operates similar to a Longstrike when it comes to cocking and firing, however it has a longer drawback, making rate of fire slower than, say, a Longshot or Longstrike. This justifies a 6/10, this is open to minor adjusting as more info is found. With Bazookafied's six darts, five were mangled up to the point of becoming useless. Reliability: The Centurion mangles darts up faster than the Recon, a notorious culprit of the same problem. A 7/10 seems fair, this is open to adjusting. 8: Goes off target every once and a whileĪs it is said to veer off course at long distances and still manage to be off by a minor distance. This falls in between the following scores: Range: The Centurion fires well over the guidelines for range (10 out of 10 being 45 feet +) and so it will get an automatic 10/10, this does not need adjusting.Īccuracy: As explained by Bazookafied in his review of the blaster, at long distances, the blaster because severely inaccurate. Now, go ahead and say how you were so stupid for not figuring out something so simple. I loved seeing you run around in circles for something so simple. ![]() Then, a week later, I made the “One will arrive” post. i can’t have it until my birthday in 2 weeks.”. See, the post- “MY CENTURION CAME IN THE MAIL TODAY!!!” Was made 2 weeks ago now. !!! Congratulations! You guessed correctly! Because the answer is, drumroll please.
